To make sure that our pupils leave Toynbee for an immediate future that most suitably matches their attributes we have developed an extensive programme of consultation. This involves parents, pupils, the careers service, colleges, universities and local businesses in a process that begins in year nine and intensifies towards the end of year ten and into year eleven.
Mock interviews, linked college courses, visits, special assemblies, invited speakers, work experience, taster days at colleges and with employers, and exhibitions are just some of the initiatives that our pupils benefit from. 80% of Toynbee pupils progress to further full time education. |
