We are very pleased to link to www.healthyeastleigh.org.uk which is run by Eastleigh Healthy Living Network - a joint project between the Council and PCT. The site has loads of good information on a range of health subjects including pages on drugs and alcohol.

What is the Eastleigh Healthy Living Network?
 The Eastleigh Healthy Living Network is a multi agency project, supported by a range of local statutory and voluntary organisations. Established in 2002 with funds awarded from the Big Lottery Fund and contributions from partner agencies, the network aims to provide opportunities for all to be healthy by providing a variety health promoting services and activities in local communities across Eastleigh Borough. |

Key Objectives
- To improve access to and participation in, healthy living opportunities and activities for those who live and work in the Borough
- To improve access to information about healthy living opportunities and activities and other health and well-being related information.
- To improve the emotional development and well being of children, improve the emotional well-being and skills of parents, and to improve access to childcare opportunities.
- To improve the emotional well-being of young people.
- To reduce the incidence of work related stress amongst people who work in Eastleigh
- To reduce social isolation and risk of accidents amongst older people.
- To reduce the prevalence of risk factors for Coronary Heart Disease

The project as a whole is over seen by a multi agency steering group, however, day to day management, development and administration is undertaken by Eastleigh Borough Council and the Healthy Living Network Co-ordination team. |
